Race (Twin)



Race is one of the twin daughters of Medusa. Just as beautiful as her sister, Anthenia, she too chooses the path of the goddess Gaia (Gaea). A gifted fighter in several different arts, dual blades, and dangerously accurate with a bow, the hand of Artemis can be seen in her ferocious style of combat. Race also has a friendly companion, Zip, a blue and white-tailed fox. That has been by her side since she was young. Reluctantly, she and Zip have grown close, and as Anthenia would tell her, are “Thick as Thieves.” Race is the more outspoken of the two. Witty, intelligent, and a dangerous fighter, she most likely would be more compared to her father if they knew exactly who he really was. Race is more attuned to her Gaze of Stone than Anthenia and will use whenever necessary. They both embrace this ability, but Race is more comfortable with the results. She also feels a slight bitterness toward their mother and will voice this loudly to Anthenia who is more forgiving. Race is not afraid to use that anger in combat, which does not end well for the enemy.

Anna Plato, while in her young teens, had a fascination with science and the stars she could never reach. While sneaking onto the town’s first large barn telescope, she slipped and fell several feet. Surviving the accident, she was taken home and was forbidden to visit the lab again. The next night while she was sleeping, Anna was visited by an angel known only to her as the “Glowing Shadow.” It was during this visit that she was told the truth, she had died in the fall and was given a second chance at staying among the living. But in exchange for this, the shadow said she would return one day to ask for her assistance.
As she grew, she was visited regularly by the “Glowing Shadow” and was taught more about her ghostly abilities and the ever-growing darkness that she was to one day face. Anna found herself able to sense evil and was compelled to cleanse it from existence. This also put her down the path of trying to keep her faith. As she grew fearful that something was sinister was watching. Anna became close friends with Father Karras who has been like a father figure to her. She now stands vigilant over her city with her three best friends to protect those who cannot stand against the power of the darkness.

Anthenia (Twin)



Anthenia is one of the twin daughters of Medusa. A good aligned sorceress, she chooses the path of the goddess Gaia (Gaea). Her gift to communicate to almost any animal is unrivaled. Anthenia has a unique ability do what has been labeled as multi spells or speed casting. Chaining spells by quickly speaking incantations or weaving symbols. Soft-spoken and kind-hearted, she is the mirror image of what her mother once was. Playing in the woods one day, they were approached by a kind and beautiful female stranger. The stranger showed the young girls how to fight and how to shoot a bow. She would visit them from time to time in the woods, in the same place every day. It was here where they would learn what it was like to be a young lady. Things Pel could not teach them. This stranger turned out to be Artemis, who know of the children and the plight that they and their mother had been bewitched. This guided hand helped both Race and Anthenia to choose their own paths. Race, the path of the warrior, and Anthenia, the sorceress of the wood. The two of them also have their mother’s unique gift of turning those that look at them into stone. The two of them were curious and spirited. Pel, knowing that they would not be held back, instructed them to carve their own masks from the dark gray bark of the Dimble trees that line the forest. This way their true nature could remain hidden as they walked among the others.

This sly devious creature is the Lich loyal servant.  Scheag performs all of his sinister work from within the depths of the shadows, keeping away from prying eyes that may reveal him.  He maintains the mission objectives that are given to him by secretly collecting information, relaying enemy locations, and sabotaging any persons or items that hinder his goal.  A dark leery creature at heart, Scheag cowardly ways are evident in his attacks.  Never one to attack with frontal aggression, he will typically strike from behind while remaining hidden from view within the shadows.  Has the abilities to morph into a dark cloud enabling him to become intangible to escape harm.  If spotted, Scheag will do what he must in order to retreat into the darkness.

The son of Garum has lived a turbulent life in the few years since his birth.  With him and his father on the run from Mobus, Magma has never had a home, until now.  Quick to act and full of unique energy Draun says Magma is always a bright ray of enthusiasm.  His ability to move earth has prompted Garum to label him as an “Elemental Sage” Magma has never been trained in controlling this ability, so it reasons that his true power may be untapped.  He is a curious child, always asking questions, sometimes to an annoying degree.  With Lodom his best friend by his side, he has learned from his father that sometimes it is better to help those that are suffering than to just stand by and do nothing.

Leela was a once witty and kind hearted healer who’s love for Garum was going to last until the end of time.  They were with child, and that made her extremely happy.  A joy that was more powerful than any emotion she had ever felt.  That is until Mobus and the council deemed it not possible for them to have a child during birthing season.  The child was taken from her forcefully and she was left to die.  After her escape, she crossed paths with a Lamia who promised her the path to revenge.  A spell was cast upon her, a spell that would give her the ability to hunt those down who had destroyed her life.  But the overwhelming burning and insatiable desire to once again see the son was more than she could handle.  The sheer stress and pain of losing her son and her mate caused the spell to twist and mangle her soul.  Causing her to change into that which is called a Lich.  The Lich now searches for the one thing that drives her.  Her newborn son, Magma.

Raine is a Tiefling who once lived peacefully with her friends and family before her home was raided by a group of mercenaries who captured and sold the young ones off as slaves.  Living most of her young childhood in the bowels of a rusty war beaten Carrier class vessel, Raine did what she need to do to survive.  After being abused and taken advantage of, she still carries a kind and caring heart.  Raine found out when she was younger that she had the ability to bend or open natural rifts in space creating temporary doorways to other places nearby.  A dangerous talent she was always afraid to use after transporting herself over a cliff and into a lake unscathed.  After this, she began using her time trying to forget about this “gift” and blacked out the dark times in her life by studying the art of healing.  Intelligent and strong-willed, Raine has lived a thousand lifetimes of grief and pain, yet one could not tell by her natural beauty and calm outer shell.  Recently, she and others were rescued from Garum’s enemy Mobus.  Who had been using her particularly for her unique gifts.  Now living on the Volleria, she has become more open and compassionate about those that she cares about.  Becoming close friends with Eeri has helped her heal the dark wounds of her past.

Garum has spent his entire adult life as an expert in weapons fabrication throughout the war and being a father to his young son, Magma. He has an expansive knowledge of weapon technology, an expert marksman, and his weapon construction skills are unparalleled. During the war on his home planet, Ketum, Garum unique set of skills were put to use in the killing of hundreds of thousands of warriors and even unknown to him, innocents. Garum has always been able to construct weapons out of just about anything that was placed before him. After the war, he and his son moved around due to the enemies he made during the war. He made do by the fulfillment of weapons contracts for profit. He still after many years, carries the burden of the innocent lives his weapons took and the sudden loss of his wife, Leela. An intimidating figure in his own right, he is more complex than he looks.
